Happy July!

The weather has finally become more seasonal and the garden is now cooperating with fermentable/cultured veggies! I have cucumbers, carrots and green beans – and tomato chutney is not far away.

I’ve been playing with fermented dosa and chutneys – and they are my new favorites! Endless variations and so fast and easy. Lovely summer time food. Light,tangy and easily adaptable to reflect what is in prime season from the garden.

Here is the July/August Schedule:

Basic Introduction to Fermentation – Emphasis on Veggies – July 12, 6:30pm to 8:30pm (Whole Foods Los Altos)

Kombucha! – July 26, 6:30 to 8pm (Whole Foods Los Altos)

Fermented Dosa and Chutneys – August 6, 10am to 12:30pm

Krazy for Kefir – August 20, 10am to 12:30
