I have completed my obsession with testing blenders and mixers – and now I am considering these nifty new tools that make spirals out of vegetables – I am especially interested in zucchini noodles since it is grain-free and a low starch vegetable that we like to eat…anyone have one of these gadgets to lend or recommend?
Attention Kombucha Lovers! I have been experimenting with the perfect blend of teas to keep your scoby happy and brew up a great tasting kombucha too! (For me – it’s the quest for fizz!)
Lisa’s Blend is comprised of three fair-trade organic teas (peony, green and black) blended into an extensively tested ratio to give you the best results. Lisa’s Blend comes in 8 ounce packages. Try it for yourself!
Three more workshop dates are available to complete the schedule through October 1st. I changed the site so hopefully now it is easier to see what’s coming up next…if you hold your curser over workshops in the upper menu bar …a drop-down menu showing the title of the workshop with the date appears. I hope this makes it easier to find one to attend.
But just to be sure you don’t miss them – here are the three additions:
DIY Kombucha – September, Sunday 18, Sunday 1pm to 3pm
Dosa and Chutneys – September 24, Saturday 1pm to 3pm
Krazy for Kefir – October 1, Saturday 1pm to 3pm
Note: All three are being held at Los Altos Whole Foods Culinary Center. This is a Lisa’s Counter Culture event – I am fortunate in being able to rent the space for these workshops. And of course – all workshops are gluten free.
