It’s almost hot here today! How hot is it you ask?

So warm that my beloved Wilderness Family Naturals Coconut oil is mushy and almost a liquid….just a few days ago I need to use a pick to get any out of the jar. Now I can freely lather myself up when I get out of the shower! I’m not a huge fan of the taste of coconut oil which is why I am so excited to have the expeller pressed version from Wilderness Family Naturals…it doesn’t taste like coconut! So can get all the great health promoting properties plus a stable oil for higher heat cooking and not have to subject my family to having everything taste like coconut. I get mine from Azure Standard online (I’m not an affiliate). It’s an awesome deal at $12 for 32 ounces. So stock up and kiss me later.

New Recipes

Troll Bites_400by500Don’t miss the delicious Troll Bites (Pizza Flavored Mini Quiches) I made for my daughter’s Harry Potter Themed Potluck. My kids are on their third batch of these already! (They love them for breakfast)  I like being able to pack them for a quick snack for when I out and about and away from my kitchen.

If you have troubles with starches than I might have a trick or two that can make them easier for you enjoy without upsetting your belly or throwing off your blood sugar. Keep in mind this is not a suggestion to eat a boatload of this if you have issues 😉

Have you tried Fermented Fries yet? Than ya gotta click for the recipe! This was also a guest post on the Divine From The Inside Out in April. This also works with sweet potatoes and yams!
